About C.C. Black
C.C. Black hails from the scenic town of Black Mountain, North Carolina, and is an award-winning author with over twenty books to his name—eighteen of which have topped bestseller lists, including three national bestsellers. As a former foster child, C.C. writes with heartfelt passion to shed light on the love, resilience, and struggles found within the foster care system.
Proudly carrying the rich heritage of his Mexican, Puerto Rican, and Saudi Arabian grandparents, C.C. tells stories from places in the U.S. and around the world that many authors don’t explore. When he’s not writing, he coaches swim and soccer, advocates fiercely for immigrant rights, and donates to organizations providing legal aid for immigrant children and families.
For C.C., giving a voice to the voiceless isn’t just a mission—it’s a calling.
A devoted Buddhist, loving husband, and proud father, C.C. believes in the power of stories to connect us all.
